Outsourcing fire protection to a specialist subcontractor

For contractors, installers and construction management firms: we take over the complete passive fire protection of your project, including the handover file your client asks of you.

Certified in accordance with
VCA-certified ISO 9001 Kiwa K21050

Fire protection is specialist work with its own framework of standards, its own tested systems and a documentation obligation that does not bend to the schedule. Many contractors and installers include it in the contract sum and outsource the execution - simply because the liability from a wrongly applied system is too great to take on as a sideline.

We are that subcontractor. For new build, renovation and catch-up programmes in existing buildings, from a single item to the complete fire protection scope of a project.

What we need from you for a quote

  • Drawings showing the compartment boundaries, or the fire safety concept.
  • A bill of materials or penetration schedule, if one exists - otherwise we estimate from the drawings.
  • The construction schedule, with the phasing and the firm handover date.
  • The preferred format for the handover file.

With those documents we normally deliver an itemised quote per line within five working days.

What we stand behind

  • VCA-certified team
  • ISO 9001 and Kiwa K21050 as an organisation
  • Execution within the tested classification
  • Handover file per component, in your format
  • Accountable at a re-inspection of our work

Do you regularly work with fixed subcontractors? We are happy to set up framework agreements for multiple projects.

Why outsource

What you gain from it

One discipline, fully covered

Seals, fire doors, steel cladding, separating structures, glass and fire dampers from a single source. No coordinating four parties who point at each other when the WBDBO is not achieved.

The file is part of the work

Per completed component: location, system, certificate, date and photo - in your format. At handover you have nothing left to reconstruct.

VCA-certified and used to a building site

Our team works VCA-certified, takes part in your site meetings and complies with your safety and access regime.

In step with the phasing

We return in phases as the pipework progresses, rather than once at the end when everything is already closed up.

Deployable nationwide

From Den Haag throughout the Netherlands, including several projects for the same client at once.

Accountable at a re-inspection

If anything in our work is rejected at handover, we resolve it. That risk does not sit with you.

Execution on site

VCA-certified fitters, taking part in your site meetings and working under your safety regime.

Handover and file

Per component: location, system, certificate, date and photo - delivered in the format you pass on to your client.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from contractors and installers

Both. With a clear scope backed by a bill of materials or penetration schedule, we quote a fixed contract sum per item. For catch-up programmes where quantities are not fixed in advance, we work on a time-and-materials basis at an agreed hourly rate with a target budget, and report weekly on what has been completed.

For smaller crews usually within one to two weeks. For larger deployments or several crews at once, advance coordination is needed. With a looming handover date we always look at what is possible - state at enquiry which date is firm.

To you, in your format if you have one. For each completed component the file contains the location, the system applied, the certificate, the date and a photo. You can include it directly in your own handover file.

For the work we carry out: yes. We vouch for the correct system choice and execution within the tested classification, and record this per component. For the premises - which WBDBO is required where - we rely on the drawings and the fire safety concept you supply.

Yes, and that is often sensible. Sealing penetrations before ceilings and finishes close up is faster, cheaper and easier to verify than doing it afterwards. We align with your construction schedule and return in phases as the pipework progresses.

Additional work is reported in advance and confirmed in writing before it is carried out. On time-and-materials work you see the status weekly. We have as little interest as you do in a discussion about unexpected items at the end of a project.
