A data center is full of fire separations that are continuously breached: busbars, cooling pipes, fiber-optic bundles, and cable trays constantly cross the walls between the data hall, MER, SER, and UPS rooms. Every non-certified penetration weakens the compartmentalization on which the entire safety strategy rests.

We work in data centers with change management, escorts, and tightly defined work windows. Our installers are accustomed to cleanroom-like discipline and to documenting every seal on drawings, so that facility management and the auditor always have a complete picture.

Often yes: many penetrations are in the MER, SER or on the corridor side of the wall. Where the hall does need to be entered, this happens under escort within an agreed time window.

Every penetration receives a unique number, linked to a position on the floor plan. New penetrations are added as a separate line, with photo and certificate.
